Was pretty excited to make my first purchase from Kheper. Bought two pairs of Hey Johnny Joggers in the recent sale. Decided to size up as I’m quite tall, to cater for my length and as it’s an online store I was unable to try on beforehand. My joggers are the perfect length but are too big in the waist which now makes it unwearable. I immediately requested an exchange as I like the joggers but was given an automated response that exchanges and returns are not allowed on sale purchases.
When something is bought online, the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act (ECT) takes preference over the CPA, allowing the consumer a week to return a 'change of heart' product for a full refund. But, the consumer has to send the goods back at their own costs.
Even big online stores offer exchanges and refunds on sale items. Why? Because it’s sometimes impossible to get your size right when you’ve never purchased from them before and don’t know their sizing.
